Three stories of meticulously carved stonework depicting gods, demons, dwarfen heroes, and a multitude of monsters in the traditional geometric style of the dwarfs rise above the chaos of the market stalls and tents filling the streets near the Hall Market. The holy symbol of Ulaa, a stylized mountain with a ruby heart, is engraved above two abnormally wide doors that stand permanently open to mark the entrance to the Deepgem Company. Engraved on the doors is an exceptionally designed image of a dwarf and cheese. The dwarf is devouring the cheese.
The interior of the building is well lit with candles and lamps. Engravings cover the interior walls of the building as well, extending to the floor and even the furniture. Dwarfs bustle about engaged in the money-changing and gem-trading they’ve come to be known for, while a jeweler works quietly off to one side, seemingly ignorant to the cacophony of shouts and clanging coins. Several doors open off the main hall into rooms where negotiations can be held privately.
